Every social era, historical setting and cultural development has given Chinese LGBTQ+ culture its contemporary character and different forms of growth. Chen Xiangqi, artist in residence at 41 Ross Alley, is joined by two special guests to share their stories.

Guests: Chen Xiangqi, Damien Lu and Raymond Phang.

The talk has three parts: Chinese attitudes toward sexual minorities, classical and modern; building and connecting China’s lesbian community; and the history, progress and future of ShanghaiPRIDE.
