Queer Feminist Open Mic: A Cross-Regional Showcase
Queer Salon Series #3

Queer Feminist Open Mic is a night of stand-up and Q&A on Chinese feminist and queer issues. On the evening of June 14, four queer feminist comedy troupes from several U.S. states came together to perform on one stage at 41 Ross Alley.
Laughter is a way of speaking out. The event treasures the resonance and strength that humor brings, amplifies the voices of feminist, queer and diasporic communities, and offers a safe space for performers and audiences of Chinese-language stand-up.
Performing troupes: DC女权脆脆的, Bay Area Feminist Open Mic (湾女), SeaUni, 女子主意 and LALA Feminist Open Mic.
