In San Francisco’s Chinatown, steeped in history and tradition, an in-depth conversation about gender and identity is unfolding in a new way. We invite LGBTQ community members and allies from different backgrounds and cultural contexts to share their stories and reflections.

Forum topics: Local experience — challenges and breakthroughs for LGBTQ immigrants and community organizations; 30 years since homosexuality was decriminalized in China — strategies, achievements and challenges; Cross-sector perspectives — media, art and academic research as ways of taking part in the LGBTQ movement.

Language: Chinese and English.
