Archive Breathing Project Patrons
The Archive Breathing Project is a long-term cultural initiative supporting the development of the Queering China Archive. It is dedicated to preserving, revitalizing and disseminating LGBTQ+ history and memory within the Chinese-speaking world. Through oral history projects, community collection drives, exhibitions, public events, digital preservation, research and education, we make archives and history visible. Your $5,000 donation will directly fund professional archival preservation, restoration and digitization, helping us open these invaluable historical records to the public and to future generations.
Why Your Donation Matters
Queer archives often face a lack of funding, no institutional home, the risk of being lost, suppressed or erased, and exclusion from academic and public cultural institutions.
Your Donation Will Help Us
Safely and professionally preserve and restore fragile archives
Digitize precious materials
Create bilingual access resources
Train community archivists
Organize public exhibitions and educational programs
Build long-term, reliable archival infrastructure
Open queer history to future generations
